The position will be a 2-year apprenticeship, including in-house training alongside the completion of an SCQF level 5 in construction operations at Thurso or Inverness College.

Job Description

Your main responsibilities will include.

• Surfacing Works.
• Concrete Works.
• Installation of Drainage.
• Installation of services (Electric, BT, watermains)
• Kerbing and slabbing works.
• Steel reinforcement and shuttering works.

Requirements

• Have good timekeeping.
• Good attitude and work ethic.
• Ability to cope with the physical side of the role, which involves manual labour and working
  outdoors in all weathers.
• Someone enthusiastic and willing to learn.
• Someone who can work as part of a team and as an individual.
• Good communication skills and able to build working relationships.
• Be self-motivated.

Desirable (but not essential)

• A full UK Driving license.
• Current CSCS card or any plant tickets.
