The position will be a 2-year apprenticeship including in house training alongside the completion of an SCQF level 5 in Construction Operations at Thurso or Inverness College.

Job Description

• Your main responsibilities will include
• Surfacing Works
• Concrete Works
• Installation of Drainage
• Installation of services (Electric, BT, watermains)
• Kerbing and slabbing works
• Steel reinforcement and shuttering works

Requirements

• Have good time keeping
• Good attitude and work ethic
• Ability to cope with physical side of role which involves manual labour and working outdoors in all weathers
• Someone who is enthusiastic and willing to learn
• Someone who can work as part of a team and as an individual
• Good communications skills and able to build working relationships
• Be self-motivated

Desirable (but not essential)

• A full UK Driving license.
• Current CSCS card or any plant tickets.
