Opportunity now available for an Apprentice Joiner, who will be working towards an SVQ Level 3 in Carpentery and Joinery.

Responsibilities

• Assisting qualified joiners with construction and installation work
• Learning to use hand tools, power tools and woodworking machinery safely
• Assisting with first fix and second fix joinery
• Measuring, cutting and assembling timber components
• Helping with the installation of doors, windows, floors, kitchens and other joinery items
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Following health and safety procedures at all times
• Attending college as required as part of the apprenticeship programme

No previous experience is required, however any experience in construction, woodworking, DIY or practical work would be advantageous.
