Do you share our passion for engaging young people with the landscape, nature, culture & future of the North West Highlands? If you do, then the role of Education and Engagement Officer could be perfect for you!


This is an important opportunity for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual or small team to work closely with the Geopark team, schools of the Geopark, partner organisations and communities in the North West Highlands to involve them with both in and out of school programmes through the Our Landscapes, Our Futures Project.
The Geopark Education and Engagement Officer will work to deliver a series of discrete education programmes that have been developed over a number of years with the local schools of the North West Highlands Geopark. These education programmes have been designed and delivered through activities that increase the links that young people have with the landscape they live in, that can impact positively on theirs and others futures in the NW Highlands.


Hours: Applications welcome for full time, part time or job share basis.
Contract: Fixed term until 30th June 2027 (there is the potential for this contract to be extended dependent on funding)
