We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Graduate Electronic Engineer to join our expanding engineering team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain practical, hands-on experience across the entire product lifecycle. Over a three-year period, you will work on real-world, high-performance electronic and battery-powered systems, with opportunities to build your skills across a range of departments.

You will be supported by experienced engineers and will contribute to the design, development, testing, and validation of innovative electronic solutions.

Key functions

  • Assist in the design and development of electronic circuits and systems (analogue, digital, and power electronics)
  • Support battery management system (BMS) development and testing
  • Contribute to schematic capture and PCB layout activities
  • Participate in prototype assembly, testing, and debugging
  • Conduct basic simulations and analysis under supervision
  • Assist in the preparation of technical documentation (reports, test procedures, design records)
  • Support verification and validation testing of products
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including software, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers
  • Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement activities

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Degree (BEng/MEng) in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline
  • Fundamental understanding of electronic principles (analogue and digital circuits)
  • Basic knowledge of PCB design and electronic CAD tools
  • Familiarity with standard lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.)
  • Understanding of embedded systems and microcontrollers (academic or project-based)
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
  • Willingness to learn and develop in a professional engineering environment

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Academic or project experience in battery systems or power electronics
  • Exposure to PCB design tools (e.g. Altium, KiCad, OrCAD)
  • Basic programming experience (C/C++ or Python)
  • Knowledge of electronic testing and debugging techniques
  • Understanding of industry standards and engineering best practices

Full time hours of work Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm, Friday 8am to 12.30pm
