Dunbeath Strath

Step back in time and see the hidden gems of Dunbeath.

This is one of those walks that surprises you, starting in a village and leading you deep into a glen that feels miles from anywhere. The path follows the river through ancient woodland, where moss covers everything, and time seems to slow down. You’ll pass a few waterfalls, the ruins of a broch, and eventually reach a peaceful clearing perfect for a flask of tea. It’s a gentle, rambling sort of walk – not about the destination, but about soaking up the calm, green beauty of the strath.
