Duncansby Head and Stacks Walk
Standing at Duncansby Head with the lighthouse behind you and the sea stretching forever ahead is something special.
The short walk to the sea stacks is breathtaking – not just for the cliffs and crashing waves, but the surprise of the dramatic, pointed stacks rising from the sea like ancient guardians. The path hugs the cliff edge (not too close!) and there’s always something to watch – puffins in summer, seals in the coves, or the wind playing games with your hair. Easy to access, impossible to forget.
