In the village of Bettyhill on Sutherland’s north coast, Farr is a brilliant spot for wildlife lovers and if you are lucky, you might spot otters, seals, and seabird colonies.

It’s also a great spot for sea kayaking, surfing and bodyboarding. There is a small parking area close to the beach, and Bettyhill has great local amenities, including a shop, swimming pool, gym, post office, café, heritage museum, and hotel.
