Kylesku Bridge
Spanning the narrow Loch a’ Chàirn Bhàin in northwest Sutherland, the Kylesku Bridge is a stunning curved structure that blends beautifully into the Highland landscape.
Opened in 1984, it replaced the old ferry crossing and is now a highlight of the North Coast 500 route. Visitors can enjoy breathtaking views from car parks at both ends of the bridge, with the north side offering the best photo opportunities. A nearby memorial honours WWII submariners who trained in the loch, and wildlife such as seals and seabirds are often spotted in the area.
Whether you’re stopping for a photo or exploring nearby trails, Kylesku Bridge is a scenic and peaceful spot worth visiting.
