Duties and Responsibilities
- Providing day-to-day administrative support for the Chamber’s business and community benefit fund portfolio, including processing grant and funding applications, maintaining accurate application and award records, and supporting financial administration and reporting.
- Assisting with the organisation and minuting of fund panel/committee meetings, and liaising professionally with applicants, panel members and community groups.
- Maintaining and updating fund databases and trackers, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of applications, awards, payments and monitoring reports.
- Supporting compliance and audit processes for fund programmes, ensuring documentation is complete, accurate and correctly filed (physical and digital).
- Greeting/managing/recording visitors, handling the phone lines, screening calls, taking messages.
- Provision of general office services such as mail handling/photocopying/scanning.
- Filing and maintenance of records, both physical and digital.
- Assisting with event/meeting planning across the Chamber’s wider activities.
- General admin duties as and when required – i.e. database updates, creation and distribution of internal and external communications, social media/website updates, minutes.
