We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Community Support Officer to help deliver projects that strengthen communities, improve wellbeing, increase opportunities and reduce poverty in Sutherland.
Working with residents, community groups, partner organisations and public agencies, you will support and deliver local initiatives, and assist with the development and delivery of Community Planning in Sutherland.
The following skills are essential:
- The ability to quickly connect and establish a good relationship with community groups and stakeholder organisations.
- Having a strong understanding of community led development and being able to engage with all sections of the community.
- An enthusiastic team player with the ability to work well with others and on own initiative.
This post is fully funded by the Highland Council through Community Resilience Fund (CRF)
- Location: The Barn, Ardgay (with some flexibility to work from home)
- Contract: Fixed term – 12 months
- Hours: Full Time (37.5 hours)
- Salary: £28,500 per annum
